November 22, 2010--Back on August 24, The Deal Pipeline's senior writers David Carey and Vipal Monga published the story "Welsh Carson's Concentra hits the auction block" where they were the first to report that private equity firm Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe was shopping Concentra Inc, an employer-focused health services company, for auction.
Carey and Monga speculated the asking price could top $700 million.
Today news has hit Humana will buy Concentra Inc for about $790 million in cash.
