London, England--Feb. 8, 2011--The Deal's senior writer, Jonathan Braude, will be moderating a panel at the European Secondary Private Equity Forum being held from Febraury 8 to 9 in London's Sheraton Park Lane. He is a moderator for the panel, "Realigning GP/LP Interests on the Secondary Market."
Jonathan Braude is a senior writer, columnist and correspondent in The Deal's London office, where he has covered M&A and private equity since returning to the U.K. in 2003. Recently while at The Deal, he has provided extensive coverage of Kraft's acquisition of Cadbury and contributed significant analysis on the rescue of the British and Irish banks following the financial crisis.
Prior to his London post, Jonathan was based in Berlin as The Deal's correspondent for Germany, Switzerland and Austria, where he also wrote a weekly European business and economic column for the South China Morning Post, a Hong Kong newspaper, and reported for Voice of America.
Before The Deal, he was an editorial writer, political reporter and columnist on the staff of the South China Morning Post in Hong Kong and before that worked in Brussels, covering the European Union and NATO. Jonathan has written for a number of prestigious outlets in print and broadcasting, including the British Broadcasting Corporation, The Times of London and Jane's Defense Weekly.
Jonathan began his journalistic career in Britain in 1979, working as a reporter and translator from German and French for the specialist European agribusiness publication Agra Europe.
