Distressed Investing 2008: Mark Holdsworth on investing in a down market (from The Deal Video)

Tennenbaum Capital Markets' Mark Holdsworth discussed the economy, corporate debt and technology investing in a down market at the 2008 Distressed Investing conference. While Holdsworth feels the economy is entering a slow growth mode with "things being tough for a while" he doesn't yet think that thet wheels are coming off. As opposed to the last time around, many more companies have taken on debt, but don't have s full understanding of what "it means to have debt, thinking that those sources of capital are going to be the same as equity sources of capital, so it kind of a learning curve for them."
