David Elman is the senior bankruptcy editor covering new bankruptcy filings, court hearings, controversies and debtor-in-possession loans and exits. Since joining The Deal in 2003 David has followed notable Chapter 11 proceedings and has also covered real estate.

Prior to joining The Deal, David was copy editor at Institutional Investor, Strategic Finance and Management Accounting Quarterly.
