Laura Board is The Deal’s international editor based in London. Laura has spent much of the past few years covering the U.K. government’s various strategies for keeping the banking sector afloat, as well as industries ranging from retail to road building across Europe and beyond.

Prior to joining The Deal, Laura worked at U.K. trade paper RetailWeek. She has also spent time at Bloomberg News in Frankfurt and London and the Financial Times, covering topics such as M&A, monetary policy, economics, politics, law and regulation, and the bond, stock and currency markets.
