Michele Doherty is managing editor of Corporate Control Alert, The Deal's journal on legal and financial trends in dealmaking. In this role Michele compiles lists of deals where there is a change of control, putting her in contact with top law firms, investment banks, public relations firms and proxy solicitation firms.

Prior to joining The Deal, Michele worked at Manhattan Lawyer and then American Lawyer.
