As senior editor for data content, Matt Haas manages The Deal’s coverage of auctions and oversees data compliance. Most recently Matt has focused on data-driven content development and the rollout of enhanced Deal Memos, which provide users insight into breaking deals and the professionals that craft them.

Matt joined The Deal when it launched in 1999 as a statistics associate charged with helping to create statistics-related features, but his affinity for numbers and information led him to a number of roles working with The Deal’s databases, web production, project management and content development. Prior to joining The Deal, Matt worked in small business and programs development as a founding director at a community outreach program in Owego, New York.
