Assistant Managing Editor: Data Research

As assistant managing editor of data, Neil Malcolm oversees the compilation, organization and production of all of The Deal’s data and the quarterly Bankruptcy League Tables, which rank top law firms, lawyers, restructuring advisers, banks and bankers working on bankruptcy cases. Before his current role, Neil was managing editor of statistics, overseeing the processing and production of data for print and online publications.

Prior to his 10-year career at The Deal, Neil was an analyst at AMB Property Corp., where he researched and analyzed industrial real estate markets and regional economies to produce investment reports. He was also managing editor at International Technology Consultants, where he contributed to the “Telecom Market Report on Latin America and the Caribbean,” and a research analyst at CoStar Group, where he produced articles on commercial and industrial real estate markets, lease and sale transactions, and profiles of office buildings.
