Olaf de Senerpont Domis focuses on venture capital, technology M&A and IPOs out of The Deal’s West Coast bureau. Olaf also pens the Silicon Valley Special column, which covers a wide variety of topics in technology dealmaking; most recently, he was the first to report on the merger of two technology giants.

Prior to joining The Deal LLC, Olaf was West Coast bureau chief for American Banker, based in San Francisco, and before that he covered Congress and the financial regulatory agencies for American Banker from the publication’s Washington bureau.
