As a video reporter, Sarah Hashim-Waris interviews dealmakers and industry experts on private equity, M&A and other news topics as part of The Deal LLC’s video team.

Prior to joining The Deal, Sarah was an on-air news anchor for SmarTrend News and Financial News Network Online, where she combined on-camera anchoring and editing duties with writing broadcast scripts and composing online news stories. Sarah launched her journalism career in print at The New York Enterprise Report, where she worked as an assistant editor writing feature articles and the Company Next Door section.
