"European corporates are starting to think about ways to diversify revenue streams further out of Europe," says Mark Shafir, global head of mergers and acquisitions, global banking, at Citigroup. The Deal Pipeline caught up with Shafir at The Deal Economy 2012 event at the New York Stock Exchange, where Shafir spoke on a panel alongside Jones Day's Bob Profusek, Delaware Court of Chancery Chancellor Leo Strine, Casablanca Capital's Donald Drapkin and more. Shafir shares his outlook on European M&A, as well as the continued growth he expects to see in BRICs. - Sarah Hashim-Waris
