Congratulations to the New Jersey chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth. At the ACG's national InterGrowth meeting in Orlando this week, the chapter won the 2006 "Outstanding Corporate Focus" award. President Mark Kuehn, directors Terry Bentley and Allen Kohan and the rest of the group surely deserve the recognition—both for their quarterly corp dev-focused dinners and their other efforts to deliver value to corporate members. I'm a Jersey guy myself, and made contact with the chapter three years ago when we were getting Corporate Dealmaker off the ground. I've learned a lot at their excellent breakfast meetings in Woodbridge. So can corp dev folks willing to get on the Garden State next May 16 (the traffic's not so bad at 6:45 a.m.) and check out the next program: the recent transactions of Integra Life Sciences. — Kenneth Klee
