Bernard Elero was named a vice president of business development for the intelligence and information systems business at Raytheon Co. Elero, a 20-year industry veteran, will strengthen strategic partnerships at the Waltham, Mass.-based aerospace firm.
Elero joined Raytheon from L-3 Communications Holdings Inc. He has also worked at the Titan Group, Harris Technical Services Corp., Lockheed Martin Missiles & Space and General Electric Co.
In late August, Raytheon announced a change in its corporate-level M&A team, with treasurer Richard Goglia becoming vice president of treasury and corporate development. He succeeded Charles Stott.
PeopleFilter Technology LLC, a solutions provider to the electronic recruiting industry, hired Bennett Williams as director of strategic alliances. Williams was previously a director of client services at Shaker Recruitment Advertising and Communications. Before that, he worked at the Chicago Tribune in recruitment advertising. PeopleFilter recently announced a partnership with Frisco, Texas-based HRchitect, a human capital management consulting firm.
Network performance monitoring firm Niksun Inc. brought in Peter Bernstein as vice president of business development. His role will be to role identify partners and players in the industry with whom the firm can bring its patented solutions to the market. Bernstein has 30 years experience in the telecommunications, data networking and information security industries. He most recently worked at Telcordia Technologies Inc.
