ACG New Jersey has an excellent breakfast program coming up on Tuesday March 20: a presentation by Kapil Sharma, General Manager of India's growing global conglomerate, The Tata Group. One of India's largest conglomerates, Tata Group is actively and heavily investing in US-based businesses, as witness its $220 million acquisition of 8 O'clock Coffee and its $677 million investment for 30% of Glaceau Vitamin Water. As general manager for North America, Sharma is in the midst of this acquisition and investment activity. He'll give his view of where Tata and other Indian companies are headed, and the potential impact on U.S. business. As usual with the ACG New Jersey, the meeting will be in the Hilton at Woodbridge in Metropark, just off the Garden State Parkway, exit 131A.— Ken Klee
