Panel 2 of the Dealmaker's Forum on Wednesday, Sept. 26, will deal with the timely topic of valuation. Three months ago, asset prices were going through the roof. But where are they now, post-credit crunch? Have sellers adjusted their expectations? Tony Colarusso of Morgan Stanley will moderate the panel, which will consist of Michael Decker of Wingate Partners, Howard Lipshutz of KRG Capital Partners LLC and Meredith Corp.'s chief development officer John Zieser. Zieser, a one-time lawyer at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP, has looked at dealmaking from several perspectives in the course of different jobs. "When I became an operating group president myself, my attitude totally changed around deals," he says in an article in the latest Corporate Dealmaker.
