For the third panel of the Dealmaker's Forum in Denver on Wednesday, Sept. 26, panelists will discuss private equity as an engine for organic growth, not just a takeover machine. Among the guests tackling the growth equity issue will be principal Spencer Neumann of Summit Partners, which was the recent subject of a Deal Journal blog. Prior to joining Summit, Neumann was executive vice president of ABC Television Network at Walt Disney Co. He joined Disney in the strategic planning department in August 1992 as a senior analyst, corporate development and acquisitions.
