indiancell.jpgIndian telecom giant Bharti Airtel Ltd. has created 'India with Airtel' -- a strategic partnership program focusing on providing leading international carriers an opportunity to partner with Airtel. Among the telecom services offered are:
  • managed data and Internet services
  • domestic connectivity
  • international circuits
  • managed customized integrated solutions
  • satellite services

There are other partner options as well, including one aimed at carriers with international presence and partial networks to build networks jointly with Airtel.

Also worth noting, Bharti Airtel said recently that a syndicate of international investors including Singapore's state-owned Temasek Holdings Pte. Ltd. and Goldman, Sachs & Co. invested $1 billion in the company. They say India adds about 8 million new mobile subscribers every month. - Baz Hiralal
