
Carlson Hotels Worldwide is looking to grow its portfolio of properties and has a new dealmaker to lead the effort. Bill Sipple was recently appointed corporate vice president of development and will focus on expanding Carlson's hotel brands through acquisitions and management contracts in major markets including New York, San Francisco and Chicago. Carlson operates hotels and resorts under the Regent, Radisson, Park Plaza, Park Inn and Country Inn brand names.
Sipple is a 30-year veteran of the hotel and resort industry. He previously worked as regional director of development for Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide. And while with HVS Capital Corporation, Sipple helped develop the special hospitality asset group.
Carlson Hotels Worldwide is a division of Carlson, which manages a portfolio of brands in the travel, cruise, hotel, restaurant and marketing industries. -
