- Steven Baronoff, head of global M&A for Merrill Lynch & Co.
- Paul Parker, head of global M&A for Barclays Capital
- Eric Billings, CEO of FBR Capital Markets Corp.

Panel topics include "M&A forecasting -- boom or bust in 2009," "Buying troubled companies," "Wall Street and Washington clash," "Middle market's momentum and the future of exit alternatives" and "Private equity and the banking industry."
The two-day event culminates with the presentation during lunch Wednesday of The Deal's Most Admired Corporate Dealmaker Awards. The winners were selected by members of the deal community who filled out surveys aimed at identifying corporations that have been exceptional dealmakers in their respective industries of information technology, industrials and healthcare.
Hope to see you at the event. But if not, check back here for regular updates on the panels, and of course, to find out the winners of the inaugural Most Admired Corporate Dealmakers Awards.
