Ex-Yahoo! biz development officer joins startup

wolf,jonathan125x100.jpgJonathan Wolf, who most recently headed up corporate development for Yahoo! Inc. (NASDAQ:YHOO ) in Europe, has joined London-based startup Criteo as chief business development officer. According to a release, he will oversee Criteo's global strategic alliances. Criteo, founded in 2005, helps e-commerce sites and others track their customers across the Internet and "re-target" them with personalized ad displays.
 
Wolf was at Yahoo! from 2005 until the end of 2008, during which time he led the deal between Yahoo! and Bebo to sell the majority of Bebo's display advertising in the U.K. and Ireland; Yahoo!'s collaboration with Eurosport to create an online sports news and community sport site; and the sale of Kelkoo SA, a comparison shopping service, to Jamplant Ltd. for $125 million.
