rosenbaum,mark125x100.jpgOn Monday we highlighted the executive team that News Corp. (NASDAQ:NWSA) chief digital officer Jon Miller has built. We've got one more important name to add: Mark Rosenbaum, who has been named the first chief financial officer for MySpace.

Rosenbaum most recently was a consultant to Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios Inc. and previously was senior vice president of corporate finance at Gemstar-TV Guide International Inc., which had been owned by News Corp.

MySpace has been at the top of Miller's agenda since he joined News Corp. in March. He replaced MySpace founder Chris DeWolfe with Facebook Inc. executive Owen Van Natta, who has made deep staff cuts and remade the executive team.

With new senior leadership in place, the pressure is on for Van Natta and Miller to reinvigorate MySpace, which has lost ground to rival Facebook and faces the expiration next year of a Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG) revenue-sharing agreement. - Suzanne Stevens
