Macy's TV

Just what America needs, another reality TV show. If the thought of another reality show wasn't bad enough, "Macy's Unwrapped", which will air on WE cable, will teach you what it takes to work at the country's largest department-store chain. At any rate, don't start prepping your headshots because the show only will follow the work of executives, buyers, sales associates, and other Macy's employees eschewing the focus on the customer. Better yet, WE will debut the show this fall after Federated will complete the re-branding of its acquired May Department Store locations. At any rate, the thought of a show about the inner workings of the mass-market department store chain sounds as exciting as watching a documentary about the making of sausage.—Matthew Wurtzel
