Flight attendants at bankrupt Northwest Airlines Corp. warned Thursday that they are considering disrupting service at the airline should a judge terminate their current labor deal. Eagan, Minn.-based Northwest has court approval to impose new terms on its flight attendants if the two sides are unable to reach a consensual deal by early next week. The company has said it needs $195 million in annual savings from the group, the only labor group at the airline that has not agreed to new terms. The Association of Flight Attendants said Thursday that if the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York allows Northwest to impose new terms, it could invoke its CHAOS (Create Havoc Around Our Systems) plan of random walkouts on targeted flights. — Lou Whiteman
