BMW to make minivans cool again

  Share     E-Mail    Discussion    Print Story

For the banker afraid to move to Short Hills because his wife doesn't want to be caught dead in a minivan, BMW may rectify that problem. The German automaker announced plans to add so-called "Sportsvans" to its lineup in 2009, according to Motor Trend. Following the naming convention of its SUVs, BMW will name the two models the F5 and F3 — the M moniker is already used for its special-edition sports sedans.
