Deal Life: Top 10 priciest penthouses

  Share     E-Mail    Discussion    Print Story

Bankers still looking for a way to spend last year's bonus checks should check out Forbes' Priciest Penthouses list. The Pierre penthouse in New York — currently home to Harrods owner Mohamed Fayed — tops this year's list with a value of $70 million, but it is about to be eclipsed by a new penthouse across the pond in London. The One Hyde Park residency in Knightsbridge is expected to be priced at $165 million, according to Forbes. Even if last year's bonus can't win you the future premiere location, no worry, rumor has it that Fayed is thinking of giving up the Pierre penthouse for One Hyde Park, so all you'll need is $70 million to secure it — of course you'll still need the approval of other Pierre residents like Sumner Redstone.—Matthew Wurtzel
