Frequent flyers rejoice

Good news for frequent flyers who regularly use the three major airports in and around New York: AMR Corp.'s American Airlines is adding flights to the area. In fact, American is due to complete a new terminal at John F. Kennedy International Airport this summer. That’s the same airport where upstart discount carrier JetBlue Airways Corp. stranded hundreds of passengers on the tarmac after last week's winter storms. With American adding flights at JFK, travelers will be able to choose an older, more experienced airline on which to be marooned.—Jeffrey Kanige
