Just in: Advisers on Hercules-Todco

UBS Investment Bank (Steve Trauber, Dan Ward, Sten Gustafson and Mark Hobbs) and Simmons & Co. International (Nick Swyka and Matt Pilon) advised Hercules Offshore in its $2.3 billion acquisition of Todco. Andrews Kurth (Melinda Brunger and Michael O'Leary) counseled the buyer.

Citigroup Corporate and Investment Banking (Greg Sommer and Quinn Fanning) advised the target with Porter & Hedges (Nick Nicholas, Chris Ferazzi and John Ransom) providing counsel.

The deal carries a $30 million breakup fee for Hercules; $70 million for Todco.
