Last week Dealscape's "Today in Deal History" series highlighted rogue trader Nick Leeson's arrest in March 1995 after his errant trades brought down Britain's oldest merchant bank Barings. Now, media reports have surfaced that the former trader may return to the world of finance if and when he leaves his role as manager of Irish soccer club Galway United, according to Bloomberg. If he does convince an institution to hire him, he'd have to receive approval from the British authorities to trade again, according to the BBC. Of course, he'll be hard pressed to find a job with the stigma of having destroyed a storied British institution that made its name financing the Napoleonic Wars. —Matthew Wurtzel
