Kinder Morgan advisers revealed

On the day the Kinder Morgan Inc. leveraged buyout closed, Cahill Gordon & Reindel LLP said Wednesday it represented Citigroup Global Markets Inc., Goldman, Sachs & Co., Deutsche Bank AG, Wachovia Securities LLC and Merrill Lynch & Co. in the buyout of the Houston pipeline company by management, Goldman Sachs Capital Partners, American International Group Inc., Carlyle Group and Riverstone Holdings LLC. Cahill worked on a $5.7 billion credit facility to fund the buyout. Cahill attorneys involved included Richard Farley, Michael Sherman, Brian Kelleher and Augustine Kim. When the $21.8 billion transaction was first announced last year, it was the second-largest private equity purchase in history.Claire Poole
