Ford suffers a dinosaur's dilemma

  Share     E-Mail    Discussion    Print Story

Some believe that the largest dinosaurs, sauropods, were so big from head to tale that when they hurt their tale, it took them a few minutes to even realize they were injured. Perhaps Ford Motor Co. suffers the same problem as exemplified by the comments on AutoBlog about the possible sale of Volvo:

There are so many people inside and outside of Ford saying so many different things about Volvo that it's entirely possible the Swedish brand will be sold and Ford won't realize it until weeks later.

The car enthusiast site goes on to offer a chronology of the press coverage from the major metro dailies in Europe and the U.S. surrounding this weekend's report, which started in The London Times before filtering back to the U.S., that Ford has indeed put Volvo on the auction block. —Matthew Wurtzel
