SEIU to protest Carlyle 'fat cats'

Maintaining its campaign against the Carlyle Group, the Service Employees International Union Tuesday plans a noon street theater protest outside the PE firm’s Washington headquarters. The union activists plan to push a "wheelbarrow full of taxpayer money," representing cash from portfolio companies with federal contracts and the tax breaks the firm’s investment partnerships enjoy, to the "eagerly awaiting grasp of a Carlyle 'Fat Cat Tycoon.'
