Delta pilots union to oppose deal

The head of Delta Air Line Inc.'s pilots' union responded Tuesday to Pardus Capital Management LP's push to sell the airline via a letter to the airline's pilots, calling a merger a "poisonous vision." Lee Moak, chairman of the Delta Air Lines pilots union, urged pilots to stand with the union in response to the hedge fund and other institutional investors seeking consolidation as they did when U.S. Airway Group Inc. attempted to acquire Delta last year.
