Coca Cola Inc. knows its future lies on products outside of its traditional carbonated drinks. That's why the Atlanta-based company has made a strong push to growing its complementary businesses.

Coca Cola maybe close to making an investment in Honest Tea, according to report in Money Magazine, which cited the industry publication Beverage Digest. Honest Tea, a maker of organic teas, posted $9.5 million in annual sales in 2006. In 2007, Coca Cola has been very aggressive on the M&A front in the non carbonated drink sector buying: Energy Brands Inc. for $4.2 billion in May and juice and tea maker FUZE Beverage in February. — Gerald Magpily
