Northwest sues to keep new pension

Northwest airplane taleNorthwest Airlines Corp. said Wednesday that it has filed a lawsuit in federal court seeking approval of a restructured pension plan for its pilots. The suit, which is supported by the Air Line Pilots Association, follows complaints by some older pilots who contend changes to the Eagan, Minn.-based airline’s pension plan were unlawful.
