London-based buyout shop Investcorp Technology Partners has closed its third fund at $500 million.

U.K. drinks company Diageo will buy Californian wine producer Rosenblum Cellars for $105 million.

And in soccer news, the struggling Premier League club Derby County names U.S. sports marketing company General Sports and Entertainment LLC as its new owner.

Out of the rumor mill Monday morning: Icelandic regulators may block J.C. Flowers & Co. LLC $4 billion-plus deal to buy Dutch investment bank NIBC Holding NV from Kaupthing Bank hf, says The Daily Telegraph; funds backed by the Qatari government may spend $3 billion on 5% of Credit Suisse Group, according to The Sunday Telegraph; Deutsche Telekom AG is close to announcing a partner for its T-Systems business unit according to FT Deutschland; and ABC of Spain says La Caixa is close to buying Morgan Stanley's Spanish division for $880 million. - The editors
