The Wild has sold out every home game it has played since joining the league in 2000. Maybe that was one reason Thursday that Leipold acquired the Wild for an undisclosed price from Minnesota Sports & Entertainment. Forbes estimates that the team is valued at $180 million.

Leipold walked away from the Predators in August, selling the franchise for $193 million.
