Price has deep ties to the wine business. He has long owned Durrell Vineyard through his Sand Hill LLC entity. Additionally, TPG joined with Silverado Partners to purchase Nestle USA Inc.'s Wine World Estates, including the Beringer Vineyards label, in 1995.
