BCE Inc.

Canada's telecom regulator has postponed a hearing dealing with the C$52 billion ($53 billion) buyout of BCE Inc. until March 11, so it can study whether the telecom giant will retain bona fide Canadian control, according to media reports.

The Canadian Radio-Television and Telecommunications Commission is responding to clarification by the Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan as to how it plans to compose the board and ownership structure if the buyout goes through.

In another regulatory story, a controversial plan to overhaul the makeup of the FASB came to fruition Tuesday with its governing body voting to approve, among other things, decreasing the number of people who serve on the accounting board.

Newell Rubbermaid Inc.-Technincal Concepts Holdings LLC
In acquisition news, consumer products company Newell Rubbermaid said it would buy Technical Concepts Holdings, which makes restroom hygiene systems, for $445 million.

R.R. Donnelley & Sons Co.-Pro Line Printing Inc.
And finally, printing company R.R. Donnelley said it will buy Pro Line Printing, a privately held producer of newspaper inserts headquartered in Irving, Texas, in an all-cash, $122 million deal.
