Vyvyan Tenorio talks to Glenn August, the president of Oak Hill Advisors, to see how one of the most sophisticated investors around is coping with these difficult markets. That interview is a fascinating tour d'horizon of all things distressed. Also in the package: Rene Cordes in Brussels asks whether hedge fund activists will continue (she thinks they will) and David Marcus examines the gestating issue of empty corporate voting.

Elsewhere in the issue, Jamie Mason analyzes the role environmental claims play in bankruptcy, while our in-house wine guy, Chris Nolter, reports on exactly what it takes to buy and run a vineyard.
