Alix Partners LLC presents Middle Market Review

Midmarket transactions dominate last week's top domestic deals

  Share     E-Mail    Discussion    Print Story

Although Electronic Arts Inc.'s unsolicited $1.9 billion bid for Take-Two Interactive Software Inc. made all the headlines last week, seven of the week's top 10 domestic deals actually fell in the middle market, led by an array of transactions from a cross-section of industries. The largest valued middle-market deal was Nation Health Properties Inc.'s $485 million acquisition of a package of medical office buildings, followed by consumer products company Newell Rubbermaid LLC's $445 million acquisition of Technical Concepts Holdings LLC, a maker of touch-free public restroom equipment. For a deeper look at the top 10 deals of the week, take a look at the chart after the jump. - Gerald Magpily
