Whitney's husband is former WWE star John Layfield. Since leaving wrestling, Layfield has become an entrepreneur selling a supplement that promises to make a man a "tyrannosaurus" in the bedroom (see "commercial" below). The feature also mentions Layfield's other job, investment banker, which struck us here at The Deal as curious. A Google search notes that Layfield is a senior vice president at Northeast Securities Inc., a small firm founded in 1989 based on Wall Street. Layfield's job is "new business development," and he has a specialty in alternative energy. His bio also indicates that Mamajuana isn't the only product he peddles. He also has a line of fishing lures named after him, which a WWE page explains are in fact named for family members.
Layfield, of course, is also a TV pundit, who regularly appears on Fox News and Fox Business (see videos). If that's not enough, he's toured the Middle East on behalf of the USO and has done philanthropic work. How's he have time for all of these activities? Our guess, it's the Mamajuana, which would also explain Whitney's comment to Maria Bartiromo in BusinessWeek:
