Roll Call: For IAC breaking up is hard to do

BarryDillerGlassesGetty.pngWhile the board of IAC/InterActiveCorp mulls over the possibility of breaking up the company into five separate pieces, CEO Barry Diller has apparently been in discussions with Liberty Media Corp. over a possible asset swap. Liberty apparently wants to acquire IAC's Home Shopping Network and combine it with QVC, the New York Post reports. Previously, Liberty, a shareholder in IAC, had attempted to block the breakup, taking its case to Delaware court, which ultimately ruled in favor of IAC. - Maria Woehr
