As expected, XM Satellite Radio Holdings Inc. and Sirius Satellite Radio Inc. said Wednesday they will extend the termination date for their multibillion dollar merger until May 15. The date was previously set for May 1.
The satellite radio operators still require Federal Communications Commission approval for their merger. XM and Sirius said they could further extend the termination date for "rolling two week periods" in their Wednesday statement. - Chris Nolter
