Go Fig moves toward public auction Following the conversion of Go Fig Inc.'s case to a Chapter 7 liquidation proceeding, a public auction of its assets could be in the company's near future. A hearing to seek approval for a public auction is scheduled for May 28. Go Fig has hired liquidator Atec Inc. to market its assets.

Sturgis judge to weigh $41M offerThe sale of Sturgis Iron & Metal Inc. to SDI Sub LLC isn't ironclad just yet. A third hearing to consider the scrap-metal recycling company's $41 million purchase will be held on May 27.

Polar Molecular's bankruptcy dismissed A Colorado judge dismissed Polar Molecular Holding Corp.'s bankruptcy case after its secured creditor, Petroleum Enhancer LLC, said it was filed in bad faith. This paves the way for Petroleum to foreclose on PMC's patents, which are valued at $400 million. -
