Parmalat settles class action
Italian dairy group Parmalat SpA has agreed to settle a fraud-related class action brought by former investors in a New York court by issuing shares valued at around $37 million. - Laura Board

Frontier Air jet sale OK'd
A New York judge has approved the sale of four Frontier Airline Holding Inc. jets to a Russian transportation equipment lessor for $106 million. - Carolyn Okomo

Aloha may sell cargo unit after all
The sale of bankrupt Aloha Airline Inc.'s air cargo unit gained altitude after some turbulence when Saltchuk Resources Inc. came back with a reduced cash offer. Seattle-based Saltchuk, which had withdrawn its $13 million cash bid during the week, stepped forward with a reduced $10.5 million cash proposal. - Terry Brennan

APG liquidation wins OK
Adventure Parks Group LLC has ended its ride though bankruptcy court. Judge John Laney III of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Georgia in Valdosta confirmed the liquidation plan for the former owner of amusement parks Cypress Gardens and Wild Adventures. - Ben Fidler
