Ziff Davis nears Ch. 11 exit
Ziff Davis Holdings Inc. remains on track to emerge from bankruptcy protection by midsummer after winning confirmation of its prenegotiated reorganization plan. The publisher's Chapter 11 plan has been confirmed, and Ziff said it expects to exit Chapter 11 on July 1, less than four months after seeking court protection. - John Blakeley

Parmalat gets go-ahead on suit against founder
Italian dairy Parmalat SpA won the right to seek damages in a criminal trial against Parmalat founder Calisto Tanzi and 53 others. Parmalat, since emerging from bankruptcy in 2005, has been trying to recoup funds from parties it accuses of contributing to its 2003 collapse. - Laura Board

Wild West lands $2.15M offer
Bankrupt Wild West World LLC has found a new purchaser for its Kansas amusement park following an open-court auction. Development firm AHG Group LLC was the winner of Valley Center, Kan.-based Wild West World's assets with a roughly $2.15 million bid at a "bid-off sale." - Carolyn Okomo

Judge confirms Equivest plan
A Virgin Islands judge confirmed the Equivest St. Thomas Inc. Chapter 11 plan of reorganization. Through the plan, Equivest will get $5 million in exit financing from Wyndham Vacation Ownership Inc. - Jamie Mason
