Dealmakers honor Jimmy Lee at the library

J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. vice chairman Jimmy Lee was honored by fellow dealmakers at a charity dinner for the New York Public Library. The event was co-chaired by his boss Jamie Dimon, Rupert Murdoch and Blackstone Group LP chief Stephen Schwarzman, who received similar honors recently. Other heavy-hitters in attendance included Ted Forstmann, Robert Spatt of Simpson, Thatcher & Bartlett LP, Rob Kindler of Morgan Stanley, Glenn Hutchins of Silver Lake and former American Express Co. head James Robinson. The event reportedly raised about $2.2 million. - Matthew Wurtzel
