Grupo Modelo SAB de CV could be next. The Mexican company is 50% owned by Anheuser-Busch, and InBev's CEO Carlos Brito was reportedly in talks with the company about the takeover of Anheuser-Busch. CNBC reported a while back that InBev would let Modelo decide its fate, including the option of a buyout through InBev stock.

There have also been reports that SABMiller plc may be bought and split up down the road, according to a Bloomberg report. Heineken NV and Carlsberg A/S could make a joint bid for the brewer similar to the joint takeover of Britain's Scottish & Newcastle plc, according to a report by BusinessWeek.

There is also a possibility that both InBev and SABMiller could consolidate breweries in Asia. SABMiller is involved in an expanding joint venture, and InBev will pick up a large portion of the Chinese marketplace through its acquisition of Anheuser-Busch and could continue to do so through existing partnerships Anheuser-Busch formed. - Maria Woehr
