Blockbuster Inc. is not the only one quitting on Circuit City Stores Inc. The lead director of Circuit City resigned after Blockbuster withdrew its bid, according to The Wall Street Journal. Mikael Salovaara was chairman of the nominating and governance committee in addition to lead director. Prior to that, he worked at Goldman Sachs Group Inc., Circuit City's investment banker. - Maria Woehr
