Good news for bankers looking for a job. There is at least one investment bank hiring. The bad news is that you have to speak French.

Societe Generale SA is hiring 5,500 staff in France this year, according to the Financial Times. The bank looks like it is making a comeback from last January's rogue trading scandal courtesy of Jerome Kerviel. The scandal cost the bank $7.2 billion, but now even Kerviel has begun the recovering process. He has since been hired by computer consulting firm Lemaire Consultants & Associates. - Maria Woehr
